Ekenäs Slott (The Castle of Ekenäs)

Ekenäs Slott is a renaissance castle that was built during the period 1630 – 1644 located outside of Linköping. The easiest way to get to the castle is by car and the travelling time is approximately 20 minutes.

The castle is open every day for the public between 8 am and 8 pm. Here you can take a walk in the park, have a picnic or join one of the guided tours that will show most of the castle and give you a glimpse of the history of Sweden.

A Jousting tournament, filled with everything connected to the medieval life and a cosy Christmas Fair is held annually at Ekenäs slott. They are both worth a visit if you happened to be in town during the weekends when they are held.

Adults: 60 SEK
Children 10 –15: 25 SEK
