After waking up and having your breakfast you should get yourself into the centre of Linköping for a shopping spread. (For more information about the shopping in Linköping, check out the category “Shopping”) When you’re starting to get hungry I would recommend you to visit the restaurant in Trädgårdsföreningen called Tropikhuset (http://www.tropikhuset.nu/ N.B. page in Swedish). Here you will find a beautiful environment and a quite different restaurant with good food that is not too expensive.
During the afternoon, why not take a walk and look at the annual exhibition called vinterljus, in English “Winter light”, arranged by the municipality of Linköping. Just make sure that it is dark outside when you are taking this walk, or else the experience will not be as great as it can be.
Linköping is an ice hockey town and we are very proud of our team LHC. If you happened to be in town during a game night, you should definitely go and watch the game. If not, why not play some bowling at one of the bowling saloons?
To complete the day I would recommend you to end you day at Ågatan, either by visiting the cinema or with a few bears at some of the pubs and clubs at Ågatan (for more information, check out the category Nightlife).
